One of the biggest misconceptions (myths) I notice some people hold towards people living with disabilities is that they confuse disability with depression. Not the case 🚫
If there’s one thing to be learned from #thedisabilitymyth podcast, it’s that people living with disabilities are the same as anyone else, and this includes their ability to live happy and productive lives. Sure, I have my rough days, but so does EVERYONE. When I’m having a rough day, the last thing I want is to be patronized because of the way I look.
