It’s finally here, and it doesn’t feel real. I now have a digital home of my own where I can house my work and share my thoughts. It only took me a year and a half to build, but I did it, and I can’t wait to share more with whoever knocks at this home’s door.

When I first started designing it, I intended for it to just be a place where you can listen to The Disability Myth outside of the platforms we’re already on, but the more I worked on it, the more it grew. “Ohh, I need an about us page! And a welcome page! And wouldn’t it be great to make a blogging section for myself?” You get the idea. In usual Dominick fashion, I may have gotten a little ahead of myself, which led to this website and season 4 of the podcast taking so long to release. But, all good things take time, and nothing good ever comes easy.

As you can probably tell, this moment means a lot to me. This is one of those few instances in my life where I feel proud of myself. My goal with The Disability Myth has always been to use it as a platform that brings people together, regardless of their differences. This website is an extension of that, and I can’t wait to continue building that platform. I’d like to dedicate this website to the unwavering support and love I have received throughout my life from my grandparents, my father, and Uriel. You all are the paramount reasons thedisabilitymyth.com came to be.
